Jet Airways allows passengers to check in
using different methods. Passengers can check in using the online facility.
They can even check in at the airport by queuing up at the airline counter or
using the kiosk machine kept there. They can even use the tele check in
facility for getting their boarding passes. However, it shall be noted that Jetairways web check in does not obviate the need for showing the travel
documents at the security clearance points. Even while doing the airport check
in it is important to carry the valid ID proofs and other travel documents to
show at the airline counter.
Valid ID proofs for Jet Airways domestic
flights, in case of Indian citizens, are the Passport, PAN Card, Driving License,
Voter ID card issued by Election Commission of India, Aadhar card, ID card from
government offices or reputed private organizations. For school children, their
school ID cards can be considered as valid ID proofs. For infants, there valid
birth certificates are required.
You might also be asked to present the
debit or credit card used to make the flight booking. In case some other person
has used his or her card for booking your flight and that person is not flying,
then it is better to carry a photocopy of his or her card along with his or her
signature on it.
In case you are not in possession of either
of these, it is better to get an affidavit made from the court and then use the
same as a valid ID proof.
Jet airways check in would also require
only passport as a valid proof from international travelers.
If you are taking some medicine along with,
it is better to carry doctor prescription along with.
In case of pregnant women, progress report
or Fit-to-fly certificate, whichever is needed, shall also be carried.
All age proofs must also be carried
whenever needed.
